Delegation from Chile and Mexico got an overview of MIBRAG mines
In March 2024 representatives of Mexican and Chilean mining-related companies visited the Central German mining area on request of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament.
Dr Maxim Vorona (Director Mining and Recultivation at MIBRAG CI GmbH) and Leif Wege (Head of Recultivation MIBRAG GmbH) gave an overview of the large mining equipment operation and recultivation in the mines. They also presented our international environmental projects.
By visiting the Schleenhain opencast mine the visitors were able to gain an insight into the different mining processes.
