Strengthening our presence in Central Asia
In November 2025, representatives of MIBRAG CI visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) in Uzbekistan – the largest copper producer in Central Asia.
AMMC is a major industrial group comprising the Kalmakyr, Angren, Chadak and Khandiza mining divisions, the Kauldy underground mine, six benefication plants for zinc and copper and several other strategic assets. Today AMMC is driving significant investment initiatives, including the development of projects like “Yoshlik I” and “Yoshlik II”.
During the visit, our team of experts presented MIBRAG CI’s competences and international project experience, focusing on planning, implementation and optimization of IPCC systems. Both sides discussed AMMC’s current and upcoming projects, shared perspectives on future development and identified several promising areas for future cooperation.
