Ongoing German-Angolan knowledge transfer
Together with our project partner ILV Fernerkundung GmbH and HGN Beratungsgesellschaft mbH, we have been involved in one of the largest diamond mine draining projects in Africa since 2023.
Our experts are not only working on site but also imparting specific mining know-how in Germany.
We welcomed the fourth Angolan delegation of seven engineers in August and September 2025.
They got an insight in the following topics:
– Geology and mine planning
– Hydrology and drainage
– River diversion
– Geotechnics and mine surveying
Our guests learned about the different technologies used at MIBRAG as well as at LEAG.
The expertise conveyed in comprehensive presentations was consolidated in technical discussions and visualized in several mine tours.
We are grateful for the valuable contributions of our specialists.
