Norwegian Mining Industry Conference in Førde, Norway (14 September 2026 through 16 September 2026)

This annual event brings together representatives from active mining companies, various consulting firms, developers of new mining projects as well as geoscience students and officials from government agencies and the Norwegian Geological Survey (NGU).

The meeting serves as a forum for professional exchange and networking and the presentation of current projects. The lectures provide detailed overviews of their progress and challenges.

Due to the previous work of our mining geologist Dirk Schwerdtfeger in Norway, MIBRAG Consulting International aims to enter the Scandinavian market. The Norwegian mining industry’s conference in Førde offered an excellent opportunity to revive existing contacts, establish new business connections, and gain comprehensive insight into the current state of the Norwegian mining industry. In addition to technical presentations, a tour of the Nordic mine in Engebø was arranged.
